Youth Art Gallery (YAG) is partnering with GIVE 365 for a community mural in the Ann Arbor Parks that aims to bring the residents of Ann Arbor together through a shared creative project. Our community will create a large, public mural designed by local youths and artists. The mural will be a visual embodiment of unity, reflecting the vibrant diversity and inclusive spirit of our community.
Local youth have already met and collaborated on several design possibilities for a community mural. YAG director T’onna Clemmons has secured funding through a grant with A2ZERO to make this opportunity possible!
We will meet at the GIVE 365 office in Fuller Park, which is at the pool facility.
All tools and supplies will be provided. Wear long pants! There may be some poison ivy near the mural site. Wear paint clothing that might get a little dirty. We will have some extra paint shirts for volunteers to wear. Wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather. Bring water!
