City of Ann Arbor Parks Volunteer Program

Mission: To work with volunteers to maintain and beautify our parks and to make improvements and enhancements to the Ann Arbor park system.

The GIVE 365 Volunteer and Outreach Program began in the spring of 2011. The program is funded by the voter approved Parks Maintenance and Capital Improvements Millage. We facilitate volunteer projects and opportunities in city parks or recreation facilities. We have a variety of projects, work days and events perfect for individuals and groups. We have featured work day events with set days and times that you can sign up for and we also have customized outings if you are looking for a group opportunity on a day and time that works for you. GIVE also manages the Adopt-A-Park program so if you are interested in volunteering at your local park on a recurring basis, we invite you to reach out to us.

GIVE 365 has year round volunteer opportunities for almost every interest, schedule, ability and age. We offers volunteer opportunities focusing on recreation facilities, parks, and amenities. We have various maintenance events (trash pick-ups, painting, etc.) as well as many programming events (Splash Days, Halloween events, etc.). Our opportunities are perfect for individuals, groups, and anyone that is looking for a way to engage with the community and do something positive in the Ann Arbor Park system! Volunteers are able to sign up for our one-day events, short-term experiences, or our long-term opportunities; the level of commitment is up to the volunteer!
