It's been an extremely busy summer for Developing KIDS--moving out of the place that we called home for 18 years, transitioning into a temporary leased space, and hosting site tours at our new building that will be completed by November!
Volunteers are needed for our Grand Opening on Friday, November 22, 2024. There will be a Formal Ceremony from 10a - 12:30pm, and afternoon Celebration Party from 4:30p-7:pm.
The showcase is expected to host nearly 500 attendees including families, friends, community members, local and national elected officials, media outlets and other supporters.
Here are some of the roles needed and will be assigned upon arrival:
• Set-up and/or Decorating (1 hr prior to start of event)• Registration Table Host (1hr prior to start)• Food Truck Assistant (Ticket Handler or Crowd Control)Food prep/service for morning• Activity/Game Assistants• Miscellaneous (Greeters, Staff assistants/errand runners/crowd control, etc.)
• Clean up and breakdown (30 mins - 1hr at close of event)
