Children's Literacy Network's in-person BookPALS program is continuing during the 2024-2025 school year in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti! The program will share the joy of reading and encouragement of reading confidence with local 2nd and 3rd grade students while practicing crucial literacy skills. The highly-loved program is in need of volunteers that are available during the school day for in-person volunteering at local elementary schools. - All books and resources are provided, we just need YOU!
- We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor on Mondays-Thursdays during the school day.
- If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer for 1-2 hours during the work day, or have time to give during the week, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
- Training is provided and no experience is necessary, just a kind heart, love of reading, and open mind.
