Redford Interfaith Relief (RIR) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerical Volunteer, Wednesday - Friday 9:30AM-2:30PM. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of respectfully serving all people in need while gaining valuable experience in an administrative setting.
Responsibilities:
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
· Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· File and organize paperwork and documents according to established systems.
· Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
· Provide general administrative support as needed, including photocopying, scanning, and emailing documents.
· Collaborate with staff members to ensure smooth operation of office activities.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
· Proficiency in basic computer skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Willingness to learn and take direction from staff members.
