This is a great opportunity to help elementary students learn about what it’s like for someone to live with a disability through a series of interactive workshops.
Where and When: Bach Elementary School, Friday April 5th, 3:45-4:45pm and Monday April 8th 8:30am-12:30pm
What: Volunteers will support small groups of students as they participate at each station. Each station will provide an experience of a person that is differently abled.
Why this volunteer opportunity is important to AAPS students: Through participating in the event, AAPS students will build empathy for others.
