This Shift Runs from 7:00 am - 9:30 am
Mothers Against Drunk Driving works to end drunk driving, fight drugged driving, serve victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking. We are in need of Day Of Volunteers to help with Set Up, Tear Down, and Running Booths at Walk Like MADD Detroit. Walk Like MADD is a fundraiser for MADD Michigan, as well as a substance-impaired driving awareness event, supporter get-together, and pay tributes to those who have had their lives impacted by this 100% preventable crime. We are in need of 15-20 volunteers to help put on a great event.
Volunteers who help with Day Of activities get to attend Walk Like MADD Michigan for free. This is an in person activity and will require you to interact with other volunteers and participants. This opportunity does require physical labor such as hanging banners, setting up tables, lifting objects, and will be completely outside. Volunteers are needed from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on August 27, you do not need to volunteer the entire time and can sign up for a shift.
