Destined For Greatness Mentoring & Community Resource Center will be memorializing the great Martin Luther King with a community giveaway like none other.
This event will take place on Thursday, January 20, 2022 (2 pm-4 pm). Volunteers should arrive by 1 pm to get familiar with the process of serving. Volunteers will help distribute items to community members. We will have FREE food, baby formula, diapers, wipes, senior incontinence, hygiene kits for men & women, clothing, and more to distribute to the community. All volunteer activities will take place outside of the Samaritan Center and masks are required.
COVID testing & COVID vaccinations are also available on-site inside the Samaritan Center 5555 Conner St. Detroit, MI 48213.
We will provide free hot meals and refreshments for all of our volunteers!!! This is a family-friendly event and inclusive to all.
