With Thanksgiving right around the corner, what better way to show gratitude for our beautiful natural areas than by helping to improve the biodiversity of Scarlett Mitchell Nature Area, a park beloved by all ages. #FamilyVolunteerDay celebrates families that work together to improve their communities. Bring your family and join the NAP family in removing invasive shrubs, providing better native habitat for wildlife. #VolunteerTogether Meet us in the Scarlett Middle School parking lot off Lorraine St. (map).

 Pre-registration through VolunteerHub is encouraged; please stay home if you are feeling ill. NAP continues to monitor recommendations from health officials, volunteers registered for events will be notified in advance of any changes to the workday. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle and leather gloves. All minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools and know-how provided. Register here.
