The Michigan Community Service Commission and United Way are recruiting volunteers to help Flat Rock residents who may be impacted by a fuel leak.
As you may be aware, Ford is working with the Flat Rock community on a fuel leak that requires some residents to be evacuated. Volunteers are needed to go door to door and provide evacuation information to potentially impacted residents.
To volunteer, please go to 25500 Gibraltar Road in Flat Rock and check in at the tent behind Flat Rock City Hall. This volunteer project will last all day and volunteers can volunteer for 2 or more hours.
There are no known risks associated with this opportunity, but that is subject to change. Volunteers can help at their own discretion.
