Description

Mayor Mike Duggan declared August 31 as Detroit Memorial Day to honor the lives of those lost to COVID 19. The City of Detroit hosted the nation's first city-wide memorial with a drive through of Belle Isle that displayed large pictures of lost loved ones.

On Friday September 4th the City will distribute these photos to families. We are in need of volunteers to assist with sorting, checking out, and distribution of these pictures into cars. This volunteer experience is adheres to CDC distancing requirements. PPE, T-shirts, and lunch will be distributed.
