Briefly, the Program brings many local elementary, middle, and high school students to U-M, where they learn about the life and mission of Martin Luther King Jr. in a day event consisting of small group work and large performances and workshops. People can volunteer as teacher-leaders, who lead the small group work, or general volunteers, who have roles ranging from workshop leader to classroom-aide to hall monitor.
