This year, for National Day of Action, we are working on sprucing up our Recovery Residence house at 1710 Dhu Varren Rd. This is our main treatment house for people in residential treatment for substance use disorder. We feel it is important for the environment to be clean, safe, appealing and useful, to enhance our clients' experience and help them while in the difficult stage of early recovery. We hope you will join us for a fun and productive day, helping others on the way to a better life. Thank you!
We will be building and assembling a cool fire pit for our residents at the Dhu Varren recovery residence house. This will enable them to enjoy being outside, sit by the fire and socialize, have meetings, and cook outs. We feel that this will be an important central meeting place, and will help the overall enjoyment and happiness of our residents.
Details about the actual building process will be available as we get closer to the event. I will also post tools that may be needed, if you would like to bring some.
