Fundraising Coordinator
Duties:
- Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors
Necessary abilities
- Develop fundraising strategies for Hire MI Vet
- Collaborate with Marketing Team (experience in a team environment)
- Excellent writing skills
- Supported by Hire MI Vet Steering Committee
- At least 2 years of fundraising experience
- Able to commit 2-4 hours per week
Desirable abilities
- Organize a campaign or event that will lead to soliciting donations
- Evaluate the success of previous fundraising events
- Excel spreadsheet experience and ability to translate to graphics
- Maintain records of donor information for future use
- Research prospective donors
- Train volunteers in fundraising procedures and practices
- Identify and contact potential donors
Collaboration with Hire MI Vet leadership
- Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied
