Volunteers needed for the biggest and best community event for young children! Touch-a-Truck takes place Saturday, May 13, from 9-noon at Ypsilanti High School, 2095 Packard, Ypsilanti. We expect around 3,000-4,000 people to attend this free event that allows young kids to explore their favorite trucks (police cars, tractors, school buses, etc.) while their parents get important information on community resources for families.

We specifically need volunteers:

  • From 7:30-9:00 a.m. to help set up a couple dozen pop-up canopies, folding tables and chairs.
  • From 9-noon to welcome families to the event.
  • From noon-1:00 to take down and stack tables, chairs, and canopies.

Touch-a-Truck is a FREE and FUN event! Please let us know if you're interested in helping with any or all of these time slots.
