Volunteers in this role support the food services team by preparing cookie dough to be used in the client's dining room. Preparing cookie dough plays a critical role in creating an elevated client experience. We can provide a more comfortable and homier customer service experience for clients and guest on campus.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Be willing and able to follow food safety expectations after training
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. for short distances, be able to lift a 5 lbs. tray in front of you and place it on a rack
  • Be able to move in and out of walk-in freezers, coolers, or dry food storage unassisted
  • Be comfortable standing or walking for up to 3 hours
  • Be reliable and consistent
  • Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 
  • Be able to follow a recipe
  • Be able to comprehend, follow and retain verbal or written instructions
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be comfortable around large breed dogs


All applicants must over 18 and complete an online volunteer application, pre-screening phone interview, in-person interview, criminal background check, and training.
