Position Summary

Elms Family and Community Services (EFCS) is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven volunteer to support inventory management and fundraising development efforts. This role plays a critical part in ensuring program and service resources are organized, tracked, and aligned with community needs, while also assisting in strengthening EFCS’s fundraising and sponsorship initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management Support

· Track, organize, and maintain inventory of program supplies, materials, and donations

· Assist with inventory audits and reporting to ensure accurate records

· Support distribution of supplies/materials for youth, seniors and community programs

· Recommend improvements for inventory systems and processes

Fundraising & Sponsorship Development Support

· Assist in identifying potential donors, sponsors, and community partners

· Support updating of sponsorship materials and donor outreach emails

· Help maintain donor and sponsor tracking systems (CRM or spreadsheets)

· Provide support for fundraising campaigns, events, and community engagement efforts

· Conduct basic research on grant and sponsorship opportunities

Qualifications

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately

· Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or community development

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills

· Experience with inventory systems, logistics, or supply chain coordination

· Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or grant research

· Familiarity with CRM systems or database management
