Position Title: In-Person Lead Tutor
Location: In-person (elementary schools).
Time Commitment: Weekly Tutoring sessions from October to May.
About the role
We are also looking for a few committed volunteers to serve as Lead Tutors. In addition to regular tutoring responsibilities, Lead Tutors play an essential leadership role in supporting the tutoring environment and serving as a bridge between tutors and program staff.
You’d make a fantastic tutor if you:
- Being patient, kind, and loving helps others grow.
- Believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed.
- Feel excited to share your knowledge and empower young learners.
- Enjoy creative ways of explaining new concepts and celebrating small victories.
- Can consistently commit to each tutoring session for the entire school year.
- Complete a background check (if you are 18+).
