United Way Day of Action is a snapshot of what United Way does all year long – mobilizing people around solutions to build stronger communities. This year, we're supporting Forgotten Harvest on Tuesday, June 17, from 1 - 4 p.m. at their 8 Mile Warehouse!
Volunteers are needed to help pack emergency food boxes, re-pack or sort fresh, nutritious food that will be distributed through Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb county. This opportunity is family friendly, but volunteers must be at least 10 years of age and volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
To register, click on the yellow respond button. More information, including on where to park, what to wear, and more, will be sent to all registered volunteers prior to the project date.
