Camp STAR is a program of STAR Children's Bereavement Services. It is a free weekend long grief camp for kids and teens, ages 8-17, that have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. Join us in providing support and comfort to children. Our grief camp offers a safe, compassionate space where kids can express their emotions, build resilience, and heal through fun, therapeutic activities. As a volunteer, you’ll help create a supportive, caring environment, offering a listening ear, guidance, and a shoulder to lean on. Arrival for volunteers is 1pm on Thursday August 7th. This is a mandatory orientation day for all volunteers. Children arrive on Friday at 1pm. Camp ends at about 3pm on Sunday August 10th.
