GIVE 365 is seeking volunteers to help with our first special event of the year- the Buhr Blitz skate event located at Buhr Outdoor Ice Arena within Buhr Park on Monday, Feb. 20, 11:45 a.m.-2 p.m.
This is a regular open skate day on Presidents Day when the kids are out of school. GIVE volunteers make this an extra special fun time by hosting games on the ice, a smore station, face painting and passing out free hot chocolate. We are looking for volunteers who like to ice skate, or roast marshmallows, or anyone who likes to draw—because we are seeking some volunteers to face paint (no experience necessary and low stress). Everything is provided (including ice skates). So if the day and time work for you and this is of interest, help us put some extra joy and fun into a day at the rink.
