The Education Project (TEP) is a non-profit aligned under Humanity First USA that helps 600+ K-12 students get free virtual tutoring in under-resourced communities across the nation. We are currently looking for enthusiastic students who are interested in gaining volunteer experience through tutoring. TEP will provide guaranteed volunteer hours, letters of recommendation, and service awards to tutors upon request.
The time commitment as a tutor is only a couple of hours a week where you can meet with students virtually 1-on-1 in the subjects you select. You will have the freedom to design your own schedule and curriculum with your student as well as complimentary access to a virtual teaching resource called IXL. This is a great opportunity to get your service hours virtually and flexibly while gaining experience working with students who would greatly benefit from your time!
