Who We Are
We’re an entirely volunteer-run organization providing a platform that connects professionals and college students with students in grades K-12. Through different online mediums (e.g. Zoom, WebEx, Google Meets, etc.), students receive a one-on-one education coupled with an irreplaceable mentorship experience.
What We Do
This project was started by students and sponsored by Humanity First in an effort to give back to the community during the pandemic. With schools being moved from classrooms to online during 2021, we understood that many families, especially those of underprivileged backgrounds, were experiencing difficulty adapting to unfamiliar circumstances. This free learning tool was developed to pair professionals and college students with younger students to help tutor them on an individual basis. Now that many schools have returned to in-person schooling, we continue to provide free tutoring services to combat the burden of disparities faced by students from disadvantaged socioeconomic statuses.
