The DRC will be hosting our annual Unity Walk on June 11th from 10am-3pm. The 1 or 6 mile walk serves as a way to bring connections between Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor as well as shed light on systemic differences. The Unity Walk was founded on the belief that when people unite for the greater good, positive change is inevitable. Our ultimate goal is to connect communities, inspire compassion and take action to call forth the beloved community. The walk also aims to lift up black voices through collaboration with Brown Chapel and an Elder Circle at the end of the walk celebration.
