WE NEED TRUNKS!
The Capuchin Soup Kitchen is hosting its first Trunk or Treat event and we are in need of volunteers to host a trunk - meaning they will decorate their trunk and pass out candy to the trick or treaters.
We ask volunteers please adhere to the following Trunk or Treat rules and regulations:
- Vehicles can enter the parking lot and begin to decorate at 2pm. All cars must be in place by 2:30pm. Cars must not move or leave their location until the end of the event.
- Decorate your trunk! No violent or gory decorations.
- Costumes are strongly encouraged. No violent, gory, or political costumes. No toy weapons.
- You must bring your own candy, toys, and other goodies to pass out. Food items must be sealed/factory wrapped. Please expect 200+ trick or treaters. CSK will have some candy available if you run out.
- Absolutely no political, religious, or personal advertising allowed on candy/toy items.
- Vehicles must be turned off during the event. No electrical outlets are available.
- Vehicles cannot be left unattended – an adult must be present at the vehicle at all times.
- This is an alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco free event. This is a pet free event (exception being service animals).
- For the privacy of our guests, photographs taken must not include guests of the event, including the trick or treaters.
- Event is rain or shine, so come prepared for the elements!
Once you sign up, a representative from the Capuchin Soup Kitchen will reach out. Please note only those 18 and older can register for this event, however, your volunteer group/car passengers can include minor volunteers.
Thank you for your support!
