Who We Are
Mission: To increase the span of healthy, active life for older adults through interdisciplinary clinical care, education, research and community service.
Since 1998, Silver Club Programs have been providing meaningful and engaging activities for families in our community living with mild to moderate memory loss. We have experienced many wonderful moments together – enjoying life, sharing memories, and having fun. We provide a safe, nurturing environment for older adults with memory loss or other cognitive changes. Memory loss is not a death sentence, and the atmosphere at Silver Club is lively, warm and social. This is a place to make friends and enjoy discussions, play fun cognitive games, create art and music, and other innovative activities, tailored to different needs. We strive to improve the memory, motivation, mood and overall well-being of our members.
What We Do
Silver Club is looking for volunteers that enjoy working with older adults with memory loss. Volunteers assist with set up of our rooms, assistance with meal set up and aiding club members. Volunteers have the opportunity to engage with members during their club activities which include:
- Art
- Music
- Games/Trivia
- Fitness
- Gardening
- and much more!
If you enjoy connecting with others and having a fun time, Silver Club is an excellent volunteer opportunity!
