Who We Are
Mission: To create moments of discovery that inspire curiosity, exploration and respect for STEM and the natural world.
As a 501(c)3, Leslie Science & Nature Center educates and inspires children and adults to discover, understand, and respect their natural environment. Situated on 50 acres within the city of Ann Arbor, Leslie Science & Nature Center provides natural science and environmental education opportunities for youth, families, and adults. Our staff members are passionate about the natural world. They’re caring and talented educators, hard working, dedicated professionals, and experts in how wild things live, grow, adapt, and survive! Our grounds, trails, & raptor enclosures are open daily, free of charge!
What We Do
Leslie Science & Nature Center provides hands-on programming, events, and opportunities to explore nature year round for children and adults! We offer amazing educational programs and events for children, families, and individuals throughout the year incorporating our live educational animals, resident birds of prey, and beautiful natural setting. You can also find us out in the community, taking our programs to hospitals, schools, community centers, festivals, and assisted living facilities.
