Make Food Not Waste

Who We Are

Our mission is to make sure that edible, surplus food gets eaten by people (not landfills) and to lay the groundwork for lasting, long-term solutions to food waste—because preventing food from going to waste protects our air, water, and soil.

What We Do

We take rescued food and turn it into meals through our Upcycling Kitchen. We support businesses and schools, educate communities, and run programs that are making real change across Michigan. From the Every Bit Counts initiative to the MI 2030 Food Waste Coalition
