Who We Are

Mission: To empower youth and families to build brighter futures by providing mentorship, education, and supportive resources that help personal growth, healthy relationships, and community impact.

The U.P.L.I.F.T. Program was founded in 2022 to help youth and families by helping them become positive contributors to their communities and the future. Recognizing the need for mentorship and support in underserved areas, the program was established to provide resources and personal development opportunities for young people that are facing challenges.

Operating in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties in the Metropolitan Detroit Area, the program is helping individuals and families, breaking cycles of poverty, and leading towards long-term success through education, mentorship, and community support.

What We Do

The U.P.L.I.F.T. program serves young men (ages 10-18) through leadership and life skills workshops, and young women (ages 14-24) who are pregnant or aging out of foster care, the program offers parenting classes, self-esteem building, and essential items like food and baby supplies. It also provides family literacy programs to help parents and children work toward educational goals, as well as mental health wellness workshops in schools and the community.
