Who We Are

Mission: To provide individualized treatment, care, advocacy, and permanency to children and families impacted by childhood trauma.

MCHS Family of Services is a child and family service agency providing foster care, adoption, mental health, education, housing, and community-based services throughout Michigan. For more than a century, we’ve been committed to creating brighter futures for children, families and the entire community across Michigan through our growing programs.

What We Do

We serve vulnerable children and families across Michigan, aiming to offer safe, loving homes, therapy, and community-based support. We provide a wide range of services to children and families, including foster care, adoption, residential treatment, mental health support, and independent living services. Our programming also includes education, parenting support, and initiatives for seniors to contribute through volunteer programs.
