FRIENDS Gift Shops

Friends is a board-governed, volunteer-staffed, nonprofit community organization that administers and manages four Gift Shops at our hospitals. Since 1959, Friends has been a partner of Michigan Medicine, helping to promote the health, welfare and education of our community. Gifts, magazines, cosmetics, candy, toys, games, books, cards, clothing, flowers and more can be purchased at the gift shops. The revenue generated from these shops provides funds for patient and education programs, patient and family programs - and many more! Grants have help fund programs in areas such as Gifts of Art, Ronald McDonald House, Survival Flight, Trails Edge Camp, and many others
