Our mission is to help youth overcome the distractions of societal norms, and to transform their mindset to higher thinking that teaches them that Health, Economic Stability, and Financial Literacy is the True Wealth. Our vision is to culturally expose At-purposed youth to a life that goes beyond their neighborhoods and to transform their thinking from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. We are seeking Licensed Contractors, In-kind Donations, Donors, Sponsors, and Volunteers to assist with converting a School Bus into a Non-traditional classroom to teach ages 16-24 Health, Wealth, and Financial Literacy. S.O.L.O Saving Our Lost Ones is a non-profit, community-building organization that serves as an educational hub and resources to youth and young adults in the Metro-Detroit area. Believing that any space can be a classroom, SOLO influences community growth through targeted projects, seminars and activities designed to teach our youth about health, activism, how to shift their mindsets to positive thinking and financial literacy. The purpose of S.O.L.O Nonprofit Bus Project "Classroom 212" is to enhance self-development, academic achievement, increase students' attendance and behaviors in under served communities and schools.
