Rebellious Dreamers, Inc.

Mission: To provide the lift for women to nurture their spirits, pursue their dreams, and achieve their goals.

Founded in 1997 by organizational development consultant and writer Carol E. Anderson, Rebellious Dreamers, Inc. is a Michigan, USA-based nonprofit that has transformed the lives of hundreds of women through grants, loans, and mentoring.

Around the world, women seek to create connections, projects, and products in service of their dreams. However, they generally lack the financial, technical, or emotional support to pursue these ventures or make them a success. And, most often, these are under-recognized, under-valued, and under-resourced.

Our organization recognizes the restless spirit of Rebellious Dreamers and is dedicated to supporting these Dreamers to launch, recover, sustain, or expand their endeavors.

We offer the kind of trust, flexibility, and commitment to their dreams that these Rebellious Dreamers deserve, yet can find nowhere else.

We combine money and love to empower women in ways other organizations do not. Through a project-based approach, we effectively support women’s organizations and women-owned small businesses to thrive. In so doing, we also leverage positive impacts in the larger communities of which these entities are a part.
