Who We Are
Mission: To provide bereavement support resources and services to parents and their support network following pregnancy and infant loss.
Remembering Cherubs is a nonprofit resource center supporting parents after pregnancy and infant loss, primarily in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. In Michigan, an estimated 23,000 miscarriages happen each year, and out of every 1,000 babies born alive, more than six die before their first birthday. Few resources exist to guide the process of grieving, healing, or steps to move forward. We understand the need for ongoing support following a loss. We are unique in our approach, providing Support, Guidance, and Validation and upholding the belief that each experience is valid––regardless of the nature of the loss.
What We Do
We provide a variety of bereavement resources and services in one convenient space, plus a caring community for parents and their support network. Through partnerships and collaborations with community organizations, we strive to make support more accessible by removing the barriers that prevent parents from finding the resources they need.
