Who We Are

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) that was founded in 2003 with the vision of transforming Detroit's international riverfront into a beautiful, exciting, safe, accessible, world-class gathering place for all.

What We Do

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is responsible for the development, maintenance, operation, security, and programming of the Detroit Riverwalk and adjacent greenspaces. The Conservancy's public programming focuses on three pillars: Conservation; Health and Wellness; and Arts, Culture, and Education.
