Rosary Community Retreats Foundation

Mission: To unite people of different ages and with various abilities and disabilities from the metro Detroit area.

Rosary Community Retreats began as a ministry of Our Lady of the Rosary parish in 1979. It grew to offering four fully subsidized 3 day retreat experiences for a total of 90 adults with disabilities. When Our Lady of the Rosary closed, the ministry continued through the formation of new 501 c 3 organization, Rosary Community Retreats Foundation. Several times a year we gather for weekends in a peaceful setting. In a Christian spirit we enjoy our mutual friendship, share the Word of God, pray together and celebrate life. These are times to deepen our love and concern for one another, to build a community that wishes to become more inviting, loving, healing, and one with the distressed/alienated people of our society.

Rosary Community Retreats provides Catholic faith centered retreats for adults with disabilities, especially those living in group homes, with limited access to faith formation or social interchange outside their living arrangements.
