A Girl Like Me Inc

Mission: To educate and encourage Girls, Teens, Teen Moms, and Young Moms between the ages of 11 to 25 to make healthy life choices.

A Girl Like Me Inc is a (501(c)3) located in Southfield MI A Girl Like Me Inc started as an exceedingly small, grassroots effort, with funding primarily from donations, selling t-shirts, and personal investments. A Girl Like Me Inc. organization looks forward to providing at risk, low income teenage girls, with the education, resources, support, mentoring, and basic needs necessary to help them make educated decisions about their reproductive health and their future. We have a No Judgement Zone regard to race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics and disability.

We provide resources and a mentoring program from Girls, Moms, and Young Moms between the ages of 11 to 17. We provide free diapers, wipes, baby milk and food, new and gently used baby items, clothing and shoes and personal hygiene kits.  We help deliver new possibilities through life skills classes, coaching, goal setting and character development to help build their confidence, and empower them all to excel. #HelpingAllGirlsAtATime
