At Feonix, we believe that access to transportation is a social determinant of health in that having access to transportation:

• Empowers aging in place
• Increases access to medical care
• Helps people maintain independence
• Reduces isolation

It is estimated that 15 million Americans lack adequate transportation. This means that today there are people in our community without access to the doctor, the pharmacy, the grocery store, the food pantry, school and so much more. Gaps in existing transportation systems can create unmet needs, leading to vulnerability for the community. What Feonix strives to do is create connections to eliminate the lack of transportation so people can live their fullest lives. We create the connections that shrink the distance between need and fulfillment.
