Who We Are
When you join the Detroit Grand Prix Association (DGPA) - the Grand Prix's official volunteer organization - you'll team up with hundreds of like-minded community supporters. A variety of volunteer assignments are available and new DGPA members can choose to get involved for one, two, or three-day commitments! You'll make new friends while feeling the satisfaction of being part of a world-class event that brings prestige and recognition to our city and creates real and lasting improvements on, Belle Isle, the island we all love! What We Do
Before you apply, take a look at our volunteer area job descriptions! Click here to look at job descriptions. This describes every volunteer assignment we have to offer both during and prior to race weekend. On your application, please choose your top three assignment preferences. Please keep in mind that we try our best to place you in an assignment of your choice, but we reserve the right to assign each member of the race as needed, or to change any assignment as the need arises. The DGPA will make every effort, but cannot guarantee, that area assignment will be as requested. Jobs will be assigned according to the order applications are received. Register early!
