Canfield Consortium

Mission: To restore the neighborhood community experience in East Canfield Village.

Canfield Consortium is a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing the East Canfield Village neighborhood in Detroit. The organization focuses on neighborhood stabilization, affordable housing, access to jobs, and preserving green spaces.

Canfield Consortium Community Development Corporation supports community projects like the East Canfield Art Park and the renovation of the historic “Jack’s” building. Additionally, they are developing Canfield Connect, a greenway linking the neighborhood to other city areas. Their mission is to strengthen community ties and empower local residents through collaborative efforts and sustainable development.
