Who We Are

Mission: To eradicate racism, discrimination, and systemic inequities by cultivating multigenerational just and beloved communities.

The Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion is a nonprofit organization that promotes equity and inclusion by addressing systemic racism and discrimination. It works with individuals, organizations, and communities to foster understanding and create pathways for collaboration and change.

What We Do

The Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion works to overcome discrimination and dismantle systemic barriers by fostering dialogue, education, and advocacy across racial, religious, ethnic, cultural, and generational lines.

We address systemic disparities and institutional bias through three core areas:

  • Community Engagement
Building bridges across communities to address social injustices and promote equity.

  • Youth Development
Empowering young people to lead efforts toward inclusion, justice, and positive social change.

  • Workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consulting
Partnering with organizations to create equitable, inclusive environments through tailored training and support.

Through these efforts, we strive to advance social justice and create a more inclusive, flourishing Detroit and beyond.
