Volunteer: Towne Center Garden SupportJoin us for a hands-on volunteer day at Towne Center Community Garden, located at a senior living facility in Ypsilanti. This garden is designed to provide residents with a beautiful, accessible outdoor space for relaxation, connection, and growing fresh produce. With your help, we’re preparing the garden beds for a productive season ahead! We’ll be adding compost to existing raised beds, and possibly some weeding. Expect a lot of shoveling, wheelbarrow work, and some heavy lifting—great for folks who like to break a sweat and see immediate results. We’ll have tools and gloves available, but feel free to bring your own shovel, pitchfork, or wheelbarrow if you have a favorite. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just want to help out your community, your time and energy will directly support a space that brings joy and food to senior residents.
