In 2024, Hospitality House distributed more than 1.2 million pounds of food and supported over 5,000 community members. Volunteers are needed to help the pantry run smoothly. There are two primary roles: Shopper Assistant: Welcome and assist clients as they shop Provide guidance on how many of each item they may take Bag groceries and help push carts as neededStocker: Restock shelves and maintain organized inventory Help unload deliveries Ensure items are easy for clients to accessAvailable Shifts (multiple dates): Mondays: 11:45 AM – 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesdays: 12:15 PM – 4:30 PM Thursdays: 9:45 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM 2nd and 4th Saturdays: 9:45 AM – 2:00 PM To sign up for your preferred shift, please use the link above. Case management: Consists of connecting the recipient(s) with authorized support services as relevant and documenting how the person is progressing in utilizing said support services. The position is primarily connects clients to referral resource and is NOT a counseling or clinical position. In the Breathing Room program Case Management review the following areas of need via mandatory face-to face weekly visits. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma and 2 years’ experience in customer service, and or human services or similar field is preferred. 2 years of experience in a similar non-profit organization. Demonstrated experience with case management and or client intake.

This volunteer will research donor profiles and ensure they are consistently engaged with the organization, and will make both phone and written solicitations to engage or reengage donors and/or sponsors on behalf of the organizations. The volunteer must be comfortable with soliciting potential individuals and businesses over the phone.
