Volunteer: Foster Care Duffel Bag Program

Help vulnerable children feel safe and comforted during a very traumatic and uncertain time in their lives.

Our foster care Duffel Bag Program provides backpacks filled with emergency basic need and comfort items to children removed from their homes due to abuse/neglect and entering foster care.

Volunteers working in this position:

sort, organize and categorize donations. pack duffel bags for children entering foster care by referencing a list of appropriate items for age and gender of child. label filled bags and deliver them to our child welfare office. 

2-3 person team of friends or a retired couple would be the ideal candidates for this position.  Volunteers must be willing to commit to working one (1/2) day per week with this important ongoing volunteer program.
