Volunteer: In-Kind Donation for Detroit Housing Commission Resident Services BACK 2 SCHOOL PULL-UP TourBACK 2 SCHOOL PULL-UP Tour - We here at the Detroit Housing Commission know in these uncertain circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are all unsure about what reopening schools may look like. Whether its virtual, or in –person learning, D.H.C. Resident Services Department wants to assist and relieve some of the burdens of having to purchase school supplies and PPE items this year. Unfortunately, there are no dedicated funds to support many of the fantastic programs and services offered by DHC. However, each year, Detroit Housing Commission continues to provide successful events with the wonderful support of numerous service providers and organizations such as yourself, that have contributed by volunteering and/or sponsorship. To continue our mission and have another successful event, we need your help! We are requesting the following contributions: • School Supplies: Backpacks, Notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, rulers, etc. • PPE- Children & Adult Facemasks, Children & Adult face shields, Hand Sanitizers, Kleenex • Devices- Tablets/ Computers • Household Cleaning Supplies- Bleach, Disinfectant wipes sprays, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. If you would like to help with a financial donation, or a donation of school supplies please contact; Rob Haynes at (313) 220 - 6361, or Julia Fearing at (313) 671-2510.
