This First Annual District 3 Juneteenth Love to Ride event is an event to provide safe and healthy activity around our District 3 Heilmann Recreation park area. The event will start at 10:30am with a bike safety demonstration outside of Heilmann Recreation Center. Immediately following the demonstration Councilman Benson will lead a bike ride around the Gratiot/ 7mile planning area. The ride will conclude at Heilmann Recreation Center where a Juneteenth presentation and live entertainment will take place. There will also be an on site food vendor for residents to enjoy free food and non alcoholic beverages. There will be city resources and vendor tables on site to provide residents with general information and or support. The event will conclude at 1:30pm.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up/breakdown, registration, food and supply distribution, and sanitation stations.
