Point In Time (PIT) Count

Our Point in Time (PIT) Count takes place on the evening of Wednesday, January 28, 2026 and continues overnight on Thursday, January 29, 2026.  This is a national event where the country takes a count of all people suffering from homelessness to aid those in need and the data collected will help inform community funding needs.  Volunteers will work with our trained outreach coordinators to find and assist Wayne County residents experiencing homelessness.  Our outreach teams will engage and offer connection to our housing services and distribute food and hygiene items.  A 30-minute training will take place before the teams leave the meetup area and refreshments will be provided.
