Join members of the Warren community, including players and families of the De la Salle Varsity Football Team to support the City of Warren and its residents, and to serve and give back to the community as a way of honoring those lost during on September 11, 2001.
This project is taking place on Friday, September 16.
This community cleanup will begin at Woodside Bible Church at 27300 Hoover Rd., Warren, MI 48093. After a brief welcome, volunteer groups will be given their cleanup locations and head out to their assignments, which focus on the I-696 Service Drive in the areas of Hoover, Van Dyke, and Schoenherr Roads.
Upon arrival at Woodside Bible Church, please park in the lot on the southside of the Church.
Following the clean-up, volunteers can have a free lunch provided by Burger King.
Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty. Volunteers may bring their own gloves and masks. Project supplies are being graciously donated by The Home Depot and other local businesses.
