This five-acre park of mature oak-hickory woodland was acquired by the City in 2004 to aid in the restoration of the Mallett’s Creek watershed. Since then, truly impressive restoration efforts by neighbors and other volunteers have transformed the park. At this workday, we will be using handsaws and loppers to cut and remove invasive shrubs, continuing the work started by these ardent and devoted neighbors. Meet at the end of Warwick Rd., off Glenwood north of Washtenaw Ave. (map).

Pre-registration through VolunteerHub is encouraged; please stay home if you are feeling ill. NAP continues to monitor recommendations from health officials, volunteers registered for events will be notified in advance of any changes to the workday. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle and leather gloves. All minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools and know-how provided. Register here.
