Description

Celebrate #WorldNatureConservationDay by improving the ecological quality of Ann Arbor’s oldest nature area – Cedar Bend Nature Area. We have done a lot of work here over the years but there is still more to go! Help us remove invasive plants such as hedge parsley from the steep slopes of Cedar Bend’s mature woodlands while overlooking the mighty Huron River. Pre-registration through Rec-1 is required – register here - space is limited. Participants must wear a mask and maintain a 6-ft distance from others at all times. Please wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and gardening gloves. All minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Compost bags and know-how provided. Meeting location will be provided after registration.
